Halloween is just around the corner… Get prepared by making these super fun monster lollipop greeting cards from contributor Eva Monleón! These scary monsters have yummy sweet noses and hide a secret message inside.

Materials

• Printable templates (download here)
• Lollipop
• Cereal box
• Furry or terry fabric
• Felt
• Wiggly eyes
• Colored Paper
• Scissors
• Hot-glue gun
• Marker

Step 1
Download and print the monster templates. Cut out the template of the creepy critter you prefer and then mark the head on the folded cereal box.

Step 2
Cut the folded box according to the template and glue colored paper to decorate the inside of the greeting card. Don’t forget to cut out the hole!

Step 3
Glue furry fabric on the backside of the cardboard. You can glue one side first and then the other to make sure it folds easily. Cut the excess fabric when complete.

Step 4
Let’s decorate! Mark and cutout the other small pieces using felt. Add wiggle eyes and big eyebrows to your monster’s face for a super scary look. Remember your monster is double-faced; you can decorate two different faces on the same greeting card.

Step 5
Write a secret message inside the greeting card. Fit the lollipop in the hole inside the greeting card and then add a dab of glue to keep the card closed. Your hidden message is ready to be delivered!
