These felt ball shooters are the perfect indoor activity to keep the kids occupied while school is out for the summer. You can use just about any round object, but the felt balls are our favorite because they go far and are soft enough to not hurt anything. You can make your own in literally a few minutes and have a blast with the whole family!
What You Need
- Paper cups
- Balloons
- Craft knife
- Scissors
- Contact paper
- Hole punch
- Felt balls
Step 1
Using the x-acto knife, cut out the bottom of the cup. I suggest doing it from the bottom since most paper cups have a ridge there to help guide the knife.
Step 2
Tie a knot into the deflated balloon. Just like you normally would but without all the hot air.
Step 3
Grab your scissors and cut the top part of the balloon off. The cut off end is what you will stretch over the cup.
Step 4
If you feel so inclined (as I did) you can decorate your cups too! I used some contact paper and a hole punch to make little polka dots. But you could do anything you like to dress them up!
Happy crafting!
