All good things come in three! That’s why we’re rounding out our Ragú pasta-palooza with this hearty one-pot pasta recipe. On a plate, this one looks pretty fancy shmancy. But between you and me, it’s as simple as throwing everything into a pot, saying a quick abracadabra, wiggling your nose, and presto! You’ve made a delicious Italian dish fit for a candle-lit gondola dinner. Or you know, a Monday night around the kitchen table :)
You know what grandma always said – you’re only as good as the pasta sauce you use! Hmm, maybe that was just our grandma? Regardless, it’s a mantra we live by in our kitchen. For this hearty one-pot pasta, we used Ragú® Old World Style® Hearty Traditional Sauce. And let me tell you, the results were delicioso!
What You Need
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Mediterranean sea salt to taste
- 2 cups water
- 1 jar of Ragú® Old World Style® Hearty Traditional Sauce
- 1 box of spiral pasta
- 1 green bell pepper diced
- 1 handful of slices mushrooms
- 1 handful of diced cherry tomatoes
How-To
Step 1
Gather up all your ingredients and toss everything into the pot! This is a great recipe to prep in advance if you know you’ll be extra short on time.
Step 2
Cook on medium to medium-high for 20 minutes or until noodles are al dente and veggies are soft.
Step 3
Serve up and enjoy! This is the perfect dinner to eat outdoors. picnic style. We ran out on the porch for a meal al fresco!
