The “ABC” (Atelier Book Chair) by Japanese designer Kana Nakanishi is a portable drawing set for kids to store/carry art supplies with an added twist: a built-in stool that allows kids to set up their own atelier on the go!

Starting as a project to utilize thinned wood from forests (a major issue in the Japanese forest industry), the case is made of Japanese cypress and stores a sketchbook on one side and canvas pouches for drawing tools and art supplies on the other.
