I’ve finally found a cure for the winter blues. All it took was a box of General Mills Oat Crisps, colorful melting chocolate, and a few vials of candy sprinkles. My glum-faced kids were in stitches! Olaf is our favorite character from Frozen, and we couldn’t help but give him a little trip to the salon. He was a great sport and let us style his hair in every way we could think of – rainbow spikes, pigtails, bubbles, you name it. Elsa even let us borrow her signature braid (my personal favorite style for Olaf) and he made it look good.

The best part of these hair-dos? They are 100% edible.
What You Need

Makes 16 Cookies.
- 1 box General Mills Oat Crisps
- Colored Melting Chocolate Wafers (in assorted colors – as many as you’d like!)
- Assorted Candy Sprinkles
- Disposable Piping Bags
- Small piping tips (you can use different styles of tips as long as the opening is small)
- Parchment Paper
How-To
Step 1
Place each color of melting chocolate (about . cup of each color) in a microwave safe bowl (1 color per bowl). Microwave each color at 30-second intervals until melted, stirring with a rubber spatula after each interval.
Tip – If your chocolate hardens before you are done using it, simply dip the bag in a cup of hot water (keep the tip out of the water!). After a minute or two it will be good as new!
Step 2
Fit the disposable piping bags with tips and fill each bag with 1 color of melted chocolate. *Tip – twist the tops of the piping bags and wrap a rubber band around the twisted area to keep chocolate from leaking. Keep each bag tip side up in a drinking glass to avoid the chocolate leaking out through the tips while not in use.

Step 3
Unwrap the Olaf-shaped oat crisps and lay them out on a sheet of parchment paper. Leave at least 2-3 inches of space between each cookie.

Step 4
Pipe the melted chocolate into hairstyles above Olaf’s face. Decorate the hairstyles with the candy sprinkles. Let the chocolate set and it should peel right off of the parchment paper.

Olaf thoroughly enjoyed his time at the salon, and I know you will love coming up with more styles for him to try.
