Today we’re super excited to be sharing a sneak peak of Bright Lite‘s upcoming issue all about robots! In case you’re not already familiar, Bright Lite is a bi-annual magazine for girls by girls (ages 8-15) that believes every girls voice deserves a home. Their goal is to create content that is inclusive, smart and inspiring for young girls, but also to provide a community for all readers. We love that they are a submissions based magazine – girls from all over the world can send in their work according to the theme to be featured!

This issue’s theme is robots – domo arigato Mrs. Roboto! Keep scrolling to see a sneak peak at the cover story, as well as a super fun round-up of DIY robotics kits for kids. We love the variety of content in Bright Lite – there is really something for everyone.

The next issue’s theme is “friendship” and submissions are now open! Bright Lite is looking for both written and visual pieces, including photos, videos, fiction, non-fiction, jokes, poems, journal entries, and lists. Get creative and send in your original work right here.
