Decorating the house with your kids can be great fun for all involved. Take it to the walls with this fun & easy DIY threaded heart wall art!

Materials

• Paper
• Hammer
• Nails
• Masking tape
• String

Step 1
Cut the paper into the shape of a geometric heart. Attach to the wall with masking tape.

Step 2
Hammer nails around the heart shape, roughly an inch or so apart. Remember that the nails should all be the same height!

Step 3
Remove the paper from the wall. Now it’s time to start threading you heart!

Step 4
Tie the end of your string on one of the nails and start playing connect the dots! Let your kids join in as well—the cool thing is that it doesn’t matter what order you go in, simply keep tracing the image with the string. Just make sure the string is properly tensioned for the best final effect.
