Thanks to sites like Pinterest, we are constantly inundated with pictures of perfectly styled children’s rooms. Sometimes, it’s hard to relate to such minimalist spaces for kids. So whenever we come across a real-life kid’s room that encourages hours of playing, imagining, dreaming, and developing, it’s just enchanting and oh-so refreshing.
French fashion stylist, photographer, super mom, and curator of the MyMobilHome blog, Anne Millet graciously agreed to share with Handmade Charlotte the rooms of her kids Reina and Niels.
What a wonderful world Anne has created for her kids: pops of fun and vibrant color, clever storage ideas, hideaway nooks, and cozy reading areas. Anne is a DIYer, so creating the perfect mood for Reina and Niels was a natural process.
Look at this cut out plywood room separation! Isn’t it a fantastic and economically friendly idea?
How about that collection of mixed and matched vintage handkerchiefs displayed at art wall pieces?
