I used to love connecting the dots as a child, so it’s no wonder I’m feeling enthusiastic about the new initiative Dot to Dot that promises to bring some of the UK’s most exciting independent children’s labels together in London. The brainchild of Nicole Frobusch (Nixie Clothing) and Carly Gledhill (Corby Tindersticks), this weekend showroom will put the spotlight on 15 up-and-coming brands in a much more friendly, intimate, and collaborative environment than other established European trade fairs. It will take place within the vaults of the truly wonderful V&A Toy Museum of Childhood, February 8 and 9.
I’m hoping to go to the debut trade-only show, but I’d love to share some of my favorites on the inspiring exhibitor list for those unable to attend. What’s hot in the British children’s industry right now? Here’s a quick snapshot.

It is chock-full of beautiful photography, tips, ideas, decor, and inspiration.
