Inspired by classic board games like Monopoly and Besserwisser, this game by Hello Monday brings together historic and contemporary elements to give players a real Copenhagen experience. Everything in the game reflects the city’s ontology: the pieces, the bills, the gameboard, the cards, and the packaging.

Players move around the board and battle to develop the city in the best way possible. No cars here–players choose from a selection of bicycles that includes a Christiania cargo bike, an upright granny bike, a child’s bike, a Pedersen, and a race bike.

The game is produced by We Are Sailing, a company started by two Lund University graduates looking for ways to help civic leaders and communities showcase Swedish cities to tourists and/or investors  For now, the board game is only available through Danish retailers.
