Easy No-Bake Polar Bear Cookies

If you’ve ever made the classic no-bake cookie (with chocolate, peanut butter and oats), then you know they taste delicious and everyone loves them. But those globs of gooey goodness aren’t very pretty, are they? With the help of some small martini glasses, you can make them take shape and create all kinds of creative treats. I turned these into polar bears for a festive winter idea. But the possibilities are endless for these cone-shaped cookies – foxes, raccoons, koalas, brown bears, pandas, mice, moose, lions, rabbits, deer, tigers. Somebody stop me.

These polar bears would be a hit at any cookie exchange, holiday party or winter-themed event. By the way… did you know that the scientific term for a group of polar bears is also called a “celebration?” How appropriate!

What You Need

Easy No-Bake Polar Bear Cookies

This recipe will make approximately 12 cookies.

  • 12 2-ounce plastic martini glasses (I got these at Party City.)
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla (I used clear vanilla to keep my cookies whiter)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 35 White candy melt wafers
  • 12 plain black M&M candies
  • 24 black candy decorator balls

Step 3

Drop the mixture by spoonfuls into the martini glasses while hot. Once all the glasses are full, press the mixture into the glass shape and flip them upside down on your countertop. This will help give the cookies a flat bottom and uniform cone shape.

Step 4

When the cookies are cool, remove the martini glasses by gently loosening the sides.

Melt about 10 of the white candy wafers in a microwave-safe piping bag or bowl. Use the melted wafers to attach the ears, eyes and noses. You may need to use a toothpick to remove some of the powdered sugar in those areas so that the candy melt can stick to the cookie better.
