2015 is off to a terrific start at Handmade Charlotte! And maybe it’s just our imaginations, but things seem to have an extra special warm glow about them lately — a welcome change to the chilly winter weather! The only thing that doesn’t seem to be changing are the mountains of cardboard boxes making themselves comfortable in every nook and cranny of my house.

Luckily, our friends at Etsy came to the rescue! They challenged us to transform leftover holiday debris into imaginative home decor that can be enjoyed all year-round. And so we introduce, Upcycled Cardboard Lanterns! They are a breeze to make and the perfect way to turn last year’s clutter into this year’s favorite DIY decoration.
