Colorful and clever “All for One” shelves by German designer Christiane Högner. A simple metal frame holds drawers that are actually old plastic boxes used in Europe to transport croissants and loaves of bread.
The latticed boxes caught her eye years ago as she would pass by local bakeries while studying interior design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. The idea for the metal frame came about as she grew tired of shuffling through stacks of boxes, since “…what you’re looking for is inevitably in the bottom one.”
