Every year I say the same thing, and this year is no different. We’re all a broken record when it comes to summertime: it’s going by too, too, too fast! In fact, I wish I could just hit repeat on summer in general, and relive June, July, and August forever and ever. Clearly, repeating the same thing doesn’t bug me at all.

The same thing is true for these craft projects – sometimes repeating the same thing over and over again creates a beautiful result. Plus, I find repetitive actions can be super soothing and zen – like knitting. Check out these variations on repeat and see which craft project tickles your fancy.

Here’s a fun summer craft to do with the kids – we go through clothes so fast in the summertime (dirt, mud, sidewalk chalk, popsicles, sprinklers, etc.!) that adding a couple of unique and memorable t-shirts sounds like the perfect thing.

Wood Bead Chandelier

We love wooden beads around our house – they’re easy to work with and look so good at the same time. This project would be stunning hanging on a covered porch, or use a bright color and put it in your kids room!

Batik Tapestry

Batik is a great medium for repeating patterns, but I also love this wreath too – it’s a subtler repeat, but you’ll be making lots of leaves over and over! I’ve always wanted to try Batik, and Kelli makes it sound so approachable.
