We’re longtime fans of LEGO – remember this DIY LEGO pencil holder in the archives? We love putting a crafty spin on the popular toy, so today we gave these pumpkins a painted makeover to look just like LEGO! These painted pumpkins are SO quick and easy that you’ll have a whole crew in no time.

We went with some the of classic LEGO faces, but pick your favorite new ones or customize your own! The possibilities are really endless, so as long as you have your yellow paint, pumpkins, and some brushes you’re sure to come up with some really fun faces for Halloween!

• Small cylindrical / oblong pumpkins
• Paintbrushes
• Plastic lid
• Apple Barrel Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint

Step 1
Snap the pumpkin stem off of the pumpkin and discard.

Step 2
Paint the pumpkin yellow! We used Lemon from the new Apple Barrel ® Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint 16 Color Set, now 25% off with code PROMOABMS1 (available until 10/21/17 or sold out). Let dry.

Step 3
Paint the plastic lid yellow and then add the facial details onto the LEGO head. We went with three of the classic LEGO face styles. Let dry and then place the lid on top of the stem, using glue to secure if it doesn’t stay there on it’s own.
