It’s always fun sharing Valentines with friends and family, but it’s even better when they come as real mail! Print and fold these postcards, color them in, then send them out into the world! You can also leave them black and white so your friend can color them in. It’s a great way to mail them an activity for Valentine’s Day!

There are three designs to choose from and because they fold, they are sturdy and have a place to write a note and address on the back. This is also a good time to learn about how to address a postcard!

Break out the crayons and markers, and let’s send some love into the world!

• Cardstock
• Scissors
• Glue Stick
• Your Favorite Coloring Tools
• Printable postcards

Step 1
Print the postcard pages on cardstock and cut them out. Be sure to leave the front and back panels connected.

Step 2
Use the scissors to score the line that separates the front and back panels. This makes it easier to fold.

Step 3
Fold the postcard in half. Now you have a double-sided card that is also extra strong!

Step 4
Glue the folded card together. Try to get the glue as close to the edge as possible.

Step 5
If you want to color your postcard before you mail it, start coloring! You can use crayons, markers, pencils, paint…be creative!

Now all that’s left to do is mail your card to someone special. If you’ve never written a postcard before, the address goes on the right side, and there are lines to make that easier. Your message needs to stay on the left side.

Also, because these cards have a fold, they need standard US first-class postage (NOT a postcard stamp). Outside of the US, be sure to check before mailing.

f you know someone who loves to color, you could even prepare a bunch of cards, package them with some markers, and them mail them in an envelope. They’ll love receiving mail that they can craft and then mail to someone else!

Of course, you don’t have to mail these postcards. They are just as fun to color and give to someone in person or dropping it off at their house. You could use the address lines to make a silly address for Valentine’s Day, like this:
