All bad guys beware! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in town and it’s not going to be pretty. I figured that out pretty quickly when I heard my son running through the trails in our backyard yelling “Cowabunga!” at the top of his lungs.
This morning my little guy woke up ready for action. He threw on his shell pack, grabbed his sword, and fastened his mask…all in the name of defeating evil and eating pizza. Man, I love 4-year-olds.
Just like the famous heroes in their half shells, Noah loves saving the planet—and, of course, eating pizza. His face totally lit up when we stumbled across the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Target. We couldn’t help ourselves! We had to have them.
You can find the Leonardo action figure here, Michelangelo action figure here, and Raphael can be bought in-store only. Check out the Deluxe Turtle Shell here and Leonardo’s Combat Gear Set here.
After all of Noah’s turtle hero shenanigans, we wanted to put together our own TMNT inspired DIYs to share with the whole world! Look out for those next week. In the meantime, we picked three pizzas that are the perfect fuel for Noah and all the little guys to start kicking butt and taking names.

Sweet Potato + Kale + Caramelized Onions = heaven from Oh My Veggies.
What’s muscle without brains? Feed both with these super yummy pizza recipes! I mean, this stuffed pretzel pizza from Half Baked Harvest? Is this real life? It’s like a whole new level of calzone.
We hope you enjoy making these pizzas as much as we’re going to! Just make sure there is enough to go around—you don’t want to see the ninja turtles when they’re hangry!
