It seems like only yesterday we were swimming in the lake, cooking out, and shooting off fireworks and here we are at December already! It always blows my mind how quickly the year flies by, especially the back half of the year – once the school year resumes, in just a blink of an eye, you’re watching that big crystal ball drop!
We’re certainly not complaining – we love the holiday season, and all the decorating that comes with it. The only sad part about it? Taking it all down 31 days later! And we’re not the only ones who delight in decorating for the holiday season – while browsing Twitter’s newest feature, “Moments”, we came across a Moment dedicated to Christmas decorations. Whether you’ve already begun executing an intense Christmas decoration plan or are simply planning on adding a quaint wreath to the door, you can’t deny that even looking at other’s decorations warms your heart a little bit.
We lost ourselves in the nostalgia of Peanuts ornaments, and were enamored with front yard light displays! I don’t know about you, but I just love seeing how others celebrate the season. Twitter Moments helped us do just that – from the Moments tab on your web browser or mobile app, you can browse curated content from Twitter editors from the biggest stories in 4 categories: News, Sports, Entertainment and Fun. We headed straight for the “Fun” tab because (let’s be honest) that’s what we’re all about here at Handmade Charlotte!
Browsing all these Christmas decorations got us in the mood to share with you some of our favorite Christmas decor DIYs! Take a peek at this Twitter Moment to put you in the holiday mood, then try your hand at one of these holiday DIY projects to decorate your own home (or table!) with.
