Step 1
If you have a few extra minutes and want some extra colorful pumpkins, give them a quick wash in warm soapy water and dry completely. Then grab a brush and apply a good coat of paint. Depending on your color, you may need to add an extra coat to cover completely. Let dry.

Step 2
Wedge the sunglasses onto the pumpkins! Ours stayed securely in place, but if yours slip around a little bit, try using a pin or glue to secure them in place.

You could even get creative and paint some patterns onto the pumpkins too! Polka dots, stripes, flowers, zig zags … you name it! And while you’re at it, kids would love painting on expressions and facial features to go with the sunglasses.
